After the Fire President Karen Stenzel and Brian Bogue, Eagle Matt Lee Firefighter & chef for our annual dinner.  Brian was presented with a plaque and honorary membership in After the Fire for all he does to help make the organization a success.

Volunteers are always needed. We especially need volunteers who are willing to provide direct (on site) response to our fire victims.

This involves answering pages from fire control and responding directly to the fire scene to interview the victims. Training for this position is provided. New volunteers are paired with a trained volunteer for their first few responses. After The Fire provides immediate response to fire victims 24/7.

Volunteers are also needed to help answer voice mail messages and work with us on our annual fundraisers. Help is especially needed on our annual fall dinner which is our main fundraiser for the year.

Volunteers may commit to whatever level of assistance they feel time permits.

We hope that by increasing our volunteer base, we can reach out to more families in need and expand our coverage. It is our short term goal to have volunteers in each fire district in Saratoga County.

To volunteer you may call our voice mail at 435-4571. Our monthly meeting dates for 2008 are listed on our about us page. Feel free to attend a meeting and see what we are all about.
