After the Fire
makes a presentation at a 2006 Ballston Spa Rotary luncheon hosted
by Patty Rutledge, President.
After The Fire strives to return some of the
support we receive from the community.
We are willing to
speak at meetings of area groups to discuss the work of our
organization. Recently we spoke at the West Charlton Auxiliary
meeting, the Galway Lioness February dinner meeting and the
Association of Fire Chiefs Ballston Spa meeting. In the past we
worked with the following outreach programs:
Chamber Angels – ATF sponsored three young people
at Christmas through Catholic Charities.
Special Challenges Group – a ministry of Prince of Peace
Lutheran Church in Clifton Park – ATF worked with the group to
complete a project for national “make a difference day” in
October. The group assisted ATF in organizing one of our
storage facilities – see photo
After the Fire helped fund a similar group,
Out
of the Ashes, which covers Washington and Warren
Counties.
Noah’s Attic - ATF members volunteer to help this
community outreach in Ballston Spa.
Eagle Matt Lee - ATF members served a Christmas fire
company buffet to firemen and their wives to enable the wives
to enjoy the dinner and not have to serve.
