Outreach
After The Fire strives to return some of the support we receive
from the community.
We are willing to speak at meetings of area
groups to discuss the work of our organization. Recently we spoke to the children attending the Saratoga Independent School about the mission of our organization. The children will earn money for reading books through out the year, which they will use to buy books for children of fire families to replace the books the children may have lost in a home fire. We spoke to the Clifton Park Rotary Club. They donated a book to the Clifton Park - Halfmoon Library in the name of After the Fire, Inc. The Halfmoon Historical Society recently published a 2011 calendar and featured After the Fire, Inc. on the July page. You may contact them if you are interested in buying a
calendar.
In the past we worked with the following programs:
- AFTER THE FIRE ADOPTS BALLSTON SPA FITNESS TRAIL
After The Fire has begun its 4th year adopting the Assemblyman
Jim Tedisco Fitness Trail in Ballston Spa. The trail was
established in 2005, made possible by a grant sponsored by
Assemblyman James Tedisco and thereby named for him. In 2006,
After The Fire began it's quest to control litter, in order to
allow those who take advantage of the trail to have a pristine
place to exercise and also allow the Village workers to attend
to other duties. The trail runs from Front Street to Prospect
Street and is 1 mile round trip.

- Saratoga - Wilton Elks Lodge presented a breakfast buffet to
benefit After The Fire, Inc in 2008 through 2010. The
